Banri Niwa (丹羽 万里, Niwa Banri) is a High School 3rd Year student from Group K. He is the childhood friend and neighbour of Kei Shinomiya. He and Kei was also in charge of finding a place for Juuzou to hide.

He claims to have his own "bible" and quoted "The experience of losing transforms into a great asset" from it.

History[]

Banri told Kei Shinomiya to come to his high school after the latter graduates middle school. Banri states that though it is not a school "at his level", there are interesting guys there.

Around Kei's middle school, he chided the former for labelling others as idiots too fast and too much. That is why Kei makes more enemies than necessary. Banri told him to hold himself back a bit and look closely at others. If he does, he should be able to become even stronger. When asked by Kei on what happens if the former goes against a "real idiot", Banri was skeptical of their existence. However, he told Kei to "crush them with all his strength".

In high school, he joined the basketball sports club in the high school, along with the other members of Group K.

Juuzou considered Banri "witty", along with Kei Shinomiya.

Etymology[]

  • The name Banri means "thousands of miles" (万里).
  • Banri's surname Niwa means "red" (丹) (ni) and "feather" (羽) (ha/wa).
